Calendar of events 2025

We are gearing up to gather and organise event and tournament details from Golf New Zealand, North Golf, and Associated Clubs for our 2025 Calendar of Events.

For 2025, we will introduce a survey-style form to capture your Club's coring dates and desired Main Events/Tournaments for publication. Moving forward, there will be a unified calendar for all events. You can easily filter your preferred information, such as North Harbour Golf, Northland Golf, Men's, Women's, or Junior events.

Stay tuned for a seamless way to access the information you need!

IN THE TRAPS
Access to the Rules of Golf are available online at https://www.golf.co.nz/learn-the-rules

There are a number of options to help including Players Edition, Visual Search function and access to the online version of the new Rules of Golf. Other resources includes a poster outlining the major rule changes for 2019, document for club committees as well as a list of 20 MUST KNOW changes.

There is also a Golf Tutor available. Briefly, some changes you may have already come across include dropping the ball from knee height v shoulder height, 3 minutes to search for your lost ball, not 5. Check your pace of play, which is recommended to be 40 seconds (and less), to be considerate of other players.

Hit & miss

Players need to sign off on the Code of Conduct Policy when representing in North Golf Association Incorporated teams.

As well your general conduct, you are agreeing to maintain high standards in dress codes, both on and off the course, to take care of equipment, be punctual and abide by your managers decisions.

This will promote development, excellence and contribute to the attraction and retention of golfers for the both North Harbour Golf and Northland Golf.

Tricky shot

There is only one rule for 'tricky shot' and that is NO INTERNET HELP!
Who am I?
I started playing golf at age 12 and I shared my clubs with my sister. We both went on to hit the $1 million mark as professional players. I am the only female golfer to shoot 59 in competition.
