Summer is the time when we aim to get out and about, have ‘time off work’ and enjoy the warmer weather (although it doesn’t always pan out that way, does it!) so it seemed a good opportunity to focus our creative thinking on a different location each week…

*Countryside Wonder Walks*
“If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.”
Vincent Van Gogh
Creative inspiration can ALWAYS be found in nature. I don't think there is any doubt in my mind about that one.
But sometimes we just walk and don't REALLY take note of nature, in all its glory, with all its intricacies, all its miracles and all it's beauty.
But what you need to do in order to appreciate all these, is to have a little purpose in your walk. And this week's prompt will give you that for sure. With a ‘wonder walk’ prompt at the forefront of your mind, you'll notice things you never would have otherwise!
Creative Thinking Prompts (w/c 26 August 2024)
Find shapes and letters, near and far.
Use perspectiveto alter how something looks - notice how you could see a letter in the trees, but only from a specific angle before it’s gone!
Go on a WONDER WALK SCAVENGER HUNTand see what everyone can find.
“Everywhere we look, the complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes.”
Vincent Van Gogh
P.S. If you want to join myself and Tracii (a fellow Wonder Clubber) for a walk in the Peak District on the 6th September - let me know! We'd love you all to come! We might even be joined by Katya of Katya's Micro Adventures, which will be FAB!
“Wonder makes us more creative and more desirous of studying the world around us. It makes us humble, less materialistic, more generous, and better community members… Wonder makes us less stressed and feel like we have more time… Wonder quite simply makes us want to be better, more tolerant people.”(Parker, 2023)
