As I lean into the final hot and glorious days of summer, take stock of ranch, family, and work, and look forward to the transition to the next season, I’m seeing and feeling the transition at Women in Ranching too. WIR has been on many dirt roads this summer, participating in new ways with rural families and with new leaders and visionaries breathing energy and life into this work. I’m eagerly anticipating the insights the staff will pull from the surveys for our Strategic Planning at the end of this month and am excited to share some of that with you all soon!
And because we can’t drive down every dirt road, I hope you added your voice, story, and experience to the survey!
I don’t know what dirt roads you might be traveling this week or what you might need on your journey, but here’s something beautiful to ponder and share:
it is okay to not have the answer
one of the bravest things
you can do
is boldly embrace the unknown,
accept your fear,
and continue to move forward
a clear mission
does not always have a clear path…
sometimes you need to move slowly
so you can then move powerfully
