“AN ARTISTIC JOURNEY” by Barbara Fox
Image item
The TCAC is proud to present "An Artistic Journey", which documents the artist's transition from watercolor to oil paints and back through paintings, notes and sketches showing this exciting process of discovery.

"Many artists are happy and successful focusing on one particular medium or subject-matter. I've never found that for myself, and ventured through flowers, still life, portraits, and landscapes, with watercolors, charcoal, and oil paint. Maybe I will never find the pot of gold, but I am having a wonderful time learning, experimenting, and facing challenges." -Barbara Fox

Barbara Fox is recognized for her accomplished realism in a variety of mediums including graphite, charcoal, watercolor and oil paint. Her artwork is exhibited and collected internationally, receiving numerous awards, and has been selected for publication in fine art books and magazines.

“An Artistic Journey” will remain in the Peg Bothner Gallery at TCAC until August 30th.  If you have not had a chance to see the show yet, come check it out!
