Hey First name / there,

Maybe you can tell by now that 'dreamy nostalgia' is a core element of our therapy practice's identity. Lately, I've been exploring playfulness and cuteness not just as a look or an aesthetic, but as forms of resistance, rebellion, love, and radicalism.

Below are some reflections I put together!

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming workshop, Mindful Menstruation: Nurturing Mental Well-being Through the Cycle, happening on Sunday, August 11th 2024.

In a world where menstruation is often shrouded in stigma and misunderstanding, our workshop offers a refreshing and inclusive perspective. Mindful Menstruation offers a new perspective that celebrates and validates the diverse experiences of menstruation through the lens of nature.

Join us to explore menstrual wellness through the natural cycles of life, beyond the confines of the gender binary.

Why Attend?
Our workshop provides an inclusive and empowering outlook on the menstrual cycle, reshaping the narrative, acknowledging its complexities and honouring individual experiences. You will gain a deeper understanding of how the menstrual cycle affects mental health and learn to navigate its ebbs and flows with self-compassion and acceptance.

What to Expect:
  • Body Literacy: Understand the intricacies of the menstrual cycle.
  • Seasonal Insights: Learn how the cycle relates to seasonal changes and impacts mental well-being.
  • Practical Tools: Equip yourself with strategies to manage different phases, focusing on the premenstrual phase and recognizing PMDD and PME.
  • Wellness Approach: Embrace a menstrual care framework rooted in pleasure and rest.

Who Should Join? This workshop is open to individuals of all genders and backgrounds who want to deepen their understanding of the menstrual cycle and its significance in holistic well-being. It is especially beneficial for those who have had to advocate for themselves in the medical system while facing menstrual related challenges, whether mental or physical.

Interactive and Informative:
  • Gain insights into the menstrual cycle and its natural rhythms.
  • Explore the psychological and physiological effects of menstrual phases on mental health.
  • Learn effective self-care and community care strategies tailored to each phase, with an emphasis on nurturing practices during the premenstrual period.
