THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS
This summer, individual farmers, private businesses and agriculture service boards have allowed us to launch our suicide prevention courses, offer free counselling sessions to farmers, and mobilize the therapist network and provide resources as part of our crisis recovery support program during wildfires and drought. Thank you to the following organizations and individuals for your support:
AgKnow is a new initiative that does not have the luxury of reserve funds, so we are asking for private donations from our industry partners to continue delivering mental health resources and services to farm families over the summer and into fall. Bridge funding support along with the project funding we've received from these donors so far will allow us to continue scheduling and delivering our suicide prevention training, in-community resiliency workshops that address stigma and access to services, and coordinating our farm-informed counselling program.
