Hello First name

In my late 20s, I became enamoured with the idea of finding synchronicities everywhere.

I often read too much into random occurrences, mistaking them for divine signs when they were merely random occurences.

One Sunday afternoon, I spotted a man I recognised as a reiki teacher I'd briefly met at a wellness event. He was leaving my local organic grocer's. Immediately, my mind categorised this as a sign from the universe that I should work with him. I mean, what were the chances of seeing him there?!

So, I promptly looked him up and booked myself into his Level 1 reiki course.

In the end, I did get my first reiki certificate, which nurtured my curiosity about energy and intuition.

However, when I look back on this moment, I don't think seeing this person (who lived quite close to my local organic grocer's) was divine intervention.

If I'd listened more to my intuition - which is more grounded and subtle in its whispers of insight - I likely would have made a different choice.

So…

What does this have to do with branding?

When it comes to branding, I believe that creative flow happens when intuition collides with strategy. A grounded, blended approach to working with both intuition and strategy is essential.

Your brand shouldn't rely on random chance encounters or divine interventions to call in your audience. Instead, your customers should intentionally choose you because they understand that your brand talks to them deeply with them on all levels - energetically, cognitively, and emotionally.

In other words, make your brand a conscious choice, not a coincidence.

Does this resonate? I would love to hear your thoughts!

PS. In other news, I’m off to Europe to do some travel with my mum. I’m also planning to spend a few weeks working from Lisbon and Madrid. Please hit me up with any travel recommendations!!

Rituals, creative explorations and nerdy stuff that have filled my cup and inspired me this month

🍚 Enjoy: An oldie but a goodie! I have made this loaf many times over the years. Each time, I've added different ingredients depending on what's in my cupboard, yet the result is always wholesomely nourishing. Best served with a good book and a cuppa!

Here's an evolving eco-system for your brand: If you have countless Ideal Customer Avatar worksheets, half-cooked marketing content schedules, or handwritten must-dos from various courses scattered across folders and notebooks - you're not alone!

Recently, I have been cultivating the sparkly joy of Marie Kondo by consolidating my notes together into one life-giving brand strategy document.

This document is a balm to soothe my overwhelm. It's an ecosystem that keeps all my insights in one place, making it easy to search, reference, and update over time.

Here's 3 tips for making your life-giving brand strategy doc.

Refer to it often so it becomes your go-to SOP anytime you work on your brand.

Don't just paste in pages of ChatGPT text. The information needs to be distilled so that is actually useable, and relevant.

➌ Once you have a good working strategy doc, use it as an input for your AI prompts to give it more context for a better output.
