Hello, First name / my friend! Happy August! I'm not sure where the last two months have gone but here we are, barreling into the other side of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. To celebrate, I'm opening up my signed paperback shop with a Warehouse Sale! Lots of way-back retired covers and oopsie-daisies from the printer. Quantities are super random--15 or 20 of some, 1 or 2 of others. Signed bookplates and Change of Heart art prints too! If you've been patiently waiting for the special foiled edition of In a Jam, I promise I will offer those from my store this year. A very small team makes all of this possible so we are limited in what we can take on at any given time. Hope you're doing well, my friend! |

In case you missed it: Apropos of the season: The cooling blanket I think everyone needs though whenever I give people this blanket they always force a smile and “thanks….?” because it isn't remarkably pretty but believe me when I say it is crucial to surviving a hot summer as someone who likes to be burrito'd up in a blanket but also cool, and the earbuds for tiny ears since we all seem to have tiny ears. This has honestly made me notice ears more than I ever wanted. Little Star Farms gear! Novel Grounds has adorable t-shirts, hoodies, sweats, and stickers in stock. |

My Recent Recommendations The Arrangement by Adriana Locke. This boss/assistant to marriage of convenience checks hits hard, y'all. Spice, “my wife,” age-gap, chemistry off the charts. It's a standalone and in KU and it's sensational. Down Pour by Maggie Gates. Whoaaaa this was an emotional one but also some whoaaa for the spice. Bullrider-turned-parapalegic and the ray-of-sunshine home health aide who finally fit like Cinderella's glass slipper. This read as a standalone for me. Read it in KU. Well Bred by A. Anders. Let me just say: 🔥🥵🔥🥵. The thing about Adriana Anders is that she can burn down your house with the heat she writes but there's going to be a damn good, emotionally compelling story in there too. This is no exception. Also in KU. Ne'er Duke Well by Alexandra Vasti. If you've been wanting something to fill your Tessa Dare void, Alexandra Vasti rises to occasion. Her writing is charming and fun and funny, and even though it's set in the olden days, it never feels old. This outsider duke and proper, respectable lady (with a secret wild streak, of course) is such a delightful pairing, and I always love books where they've teamed up to find one a partner but end up realizing it's them. |

Typos and broken links happen. It's okay. The earth is very hot and fragile, and so are we. |
