welcoming summer with new OPPORTUNITIES! |

Friends of Benes Companies, It's been a while since we sent out a company update newsletter. That's because we have had our nose to the grindstone for the past year, gaining the skills & setting up the services we believe can help people and organizations win the war on complex illness. Among other things, we are happy to share that: - Tenay started and completed her Master of Science in Information Science (with a concentration of health technology design and prototyping) from the University of Colorado Boulder
- Brett completed his Bachelor of Science in [Urban] Planning (with a concentration on sustainable food systems) from Arizona State University. He then immediately started his Master of Legal Studies (with a concentration on intellectual property law) at ASU's Law School
Now that everything is set, we can share what's happening with you, & we ask that you share it with three people you know who can benefit, connect or partner with us. |
|
In Heal or Die, Tenay shares how she is overcoming complex post-traumatic stress, chronic fatigue syndrome, & neurodivergence to reclaim her life, health, & purpose by applying the “ The Three Rights” to her healing journey. In Win the War, Tenay shares how lessons from her time as an intelligence officer in Baghdad — where she helped turn the least-functional district into the most-functional — apply to the U.S. care ecosystem. Tenay has also started being a podcast guest on other shows. Who do you know who needs a professional speaker at the conference they're planning or needs a podcast guest? Please share this with them. |

Description: Complex illnesses are rising across the U.S. — over 75% of adults live with at least one chronic condition, and more than half have multiple. This trend is not the fault of the patients or the providers, but of the disjointed, siloed system in which they live and work! The Care We Need Podcast helps health, wellness, and human services professionals across Western, Eastern, Integrative, Complementary, and Holistic care models understand the challenges and offer actionable insights for improving care outcomes. Each episode brings together patients, practitioners, and systems experts to explore how U.S. health and wellness systems can be integrated and optimized for complex illness. Who do you know who provides care for people's wellbeing? Please share this with them. |
