Hi everyone,
We hope everyone is staying cool with these triple digits. There is a lot happening at the greenhouse. We are working to make sure you have a great selection of plants for fall as well as your fall gardens!
With the high temperatures please remember to water, water, water. Early morning or later in the evening is ideal that way the plants can take in the water without stressing from the heat. Now is a good time to double check all your sprinklers to make sure you are getting the ideal coverage needed.
We are still seeing fungal problems in yards. If you think you might have a fungal problem bring pictures in that way we can see if, but you will want to get F-stop to apply to help stop it. You will also want to get max green as well as activate to help get the grass back green and healthy.
Even though we are so hot right now, our mum crop is looking amazing! Check the pictures out below. I had a little helper today that insisted on taking a picture with a mum. We are getting ready for the rest of our fall crop as we have started our ornamental cabbage and kale. Pansies, violas, dianthus, snapdragons, and dusty miller are set to arrive in a couple of weeks and will be ready for you to purchase at the end of September.
Thinking about doing a fall garden? We will have fall starts ready for you late August to early September. We started sowing some things today!
