August has a way of creeping up. You're sailing along in summer; it's early June, and then suddenly, August. School supplies have been in stores since July, and you can sense the change in season. 🍂
Transitions are hard, especially if you're tying up loose ends from taking a summer class, doing research, or prepping to apply to grad programs this fall.
If you still need to take a break, gift yourself that gift, if you can.
Give yourself another gift (one is good, two is better) of determining what your fall semester is going to look and feel like right now. Do you want to repeat old habits and tendencies? Do you want to be strong and focused throughout? Do you have too much on your plate already?
What's most important to you this fall?
Take a day, an afternoon, or an hour and contemplate these questions.
Decide what you must do now to set yourself up for the most amazing semester. Do you have your key habits in place? Do you need to lower your expectations to give yourself grace?
What kind of mindset do you need to start working on right now so that you can show up as the best version of yourself?
It all boils down to what you want. What do you want this semester to be like, and what kind of student do you want to be? Make some choices that will make things easier on yourself. Check out the word bank below and ask yourself: What do you want?
Stay tuned for the Fall Success Program! Together, we'll build key habits 🔑 to help strengthen your foundation of well-being.
Remember: you do your best when you feel your best! You want to make sure you take care of yourself and your well-being. You are important, and your health matters. ✨
