I'm thrilled to announce that I have a brand new product collection launching TODAY! 🎉

 

This collection is in collaboration with The Happy Planner and it features a notebook, undated planner, colorful stickers, and a pencil pouch! It's is full of vibrant hues and uplifting messages to make organizing your life feel FUN!

I have adored working with The Happy Planner this past year. The products they've put together with my designs just feel so “me” and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Big thanks to my agents, Jewel Branding, for facilitating another amazing collab!

In honor of my new collection, this week's challenge is to create an illustration with a positive or uplifting message. 

 

Hand-lettering and typography illustrations tend to be big winners in art licensing since they work well on so many product categories. It's always helpful to have positive or cheeky lettering in your portfolio since potential collaborators know this is popular with customers and will be more inclined to license your designs when you include some quotes and lettering!

Pro tip: You can add lettering on top of existing illustrations without too much effort. In these examples, I took some existing paintings and added text to them in Photoshop. 

 

With a few clicks, I was able to add some brand new marketable illustrations to my portfolio!
