A chat with like-minded artists via Zoom Signed books for purchase Echo release Stars soaring! My brain is a madhouse right now. So much to cover, so much going on. On my desk, I have an unfinished draft of Otis's story, plus the copy edits for my mystery, The Secrets of Good People. Oh, wait, did I just reveal the title for the first time? Y'all, you're going to dig it. I'll be sharing the cover asap. Also, my agent and publisher are in town this week, and we'll be hashing out what the heck I should write after Otis. Any ideas out there? If all that wasn't enough, An Echo in Time hits shelves next week, friends! What I have spoken little about is that nearly half of Echo is set in 1880 Winchester, England and features a young fellow named Miles who refuses to be his father's puppet. His story is going to hit you where it counts. My wife says, “Your best are the ones that require you to push way out of your comfort zone.” Echo fits the bill! (And she's ALWAYS right.) I'm beyond proud of this novel. Next, I had to share this lovely shot of The Stars Don't Lie fighting her way to new readers. She's in the top 100 in the Amazon store and enjoying a nice push of momentum sandwiched between two books half of you have likely read. All The Colors of the Dark blew my mind. Last week, Chris agreed to let me interview him soon; I can't wait to share. I'm early into reading Kristin Hannah's The Women, so I'll reserve my thoughts for later. Either way, somebody flipping pinch me! |

For those interested in shedding performance blocks as a creative, or simply realizing your own potential, my guru, Ruth S. L. Chiles, is hosting a Zoom chat this Friday at 12pm EST to celebrate the release of her new book, Free to Perform. Ruth nearly defies description. She's changed my life and that of so many others, and I'm thrilled that her work is gaining such grand international attention. Ruth and I will be chatting with some wonderful human beings (Victor Wooten, bassist extraordinaire; Craig Korth, bluegrass maestro; Daniel Levitin, author of This Is Your Brain on Music, and Sergio Pallettelli, flute genius) about how to shed our limitations and gain easier access to flow and to our true selves. For the record, I'm still a work-in-progress. Perhaps we all are. Though the talk will be heavy on music and writing, I suspect anyone could gain significant benefit. Here's the Zoom link. You can access the Facebook event page here. |
