For anyone interested in photography, I think this prompt is a fun one to explore in that medium! Once you take the pic you can print it out to add to your sketchbook or use it in a collage or mixed media piece. Here are a few ideas to try: - II liked the ideas listed on this website including placing cups of water in front of your subject as well as using ice and mirrors.
- Transfer a photo onto paper using these instructions. This project also makes me wonder of ways you can distress or make a printed photo look vintage without photoshop (using stamp pads, rubbing it, putting tape on it and removing it, etc.)

I have a work in progress to share! For watercolor I decided to use the same colors to explore soft and bold. I've created the background and am deciding what I want to add on top as it feels unfinished right now. I'm considering text (a quote about softness, a quote about bold written in different colored inks) or adding translucent paper in the shape of feathers for soft and geometric shapes for bold…my plan is to decide and finish it this week! |
