My dear friend, I want to acknowledge the heartbreaking destruction from Hurricane Helene. It just doesn't feel right to jump into a happy newsletter without talking about it. Our family has so many wonderful memories taking our children to many of the small towns that we are seeing on television that have been severely impacted by the storm. As I mentioned on Instagram
yesterday, I keep seeing faces of friends and shop owners we have met over the last year and I'm just in disbelief.
With that being said, Fall has always been my favorite season. ๐ Maybe it's the dropping of temperatures, the changing of leaves (not here in Florida, of course!), my birthday in October, or just the chance to settle into a new season but I sure do love autumn.
It is also the season of thanksgiving. I am so thankful for the gift to be able to self-publish my own book and God has been so faithful blessing each and every step of the way! I am so thankful for YOU!
In this season of thanksgiving, I hope you can look for ways to show kindness and hospitality whenever you can!
Could you pick up an extra loaf of pumpkin bread while you're at the store this week to bless someone around you? Maybe you could give it to your neighbor you've been meaning to say hi to, your child's teacher at school who is adjusting to her new class, or give a donation to one of the many wonderful organizations helping those impacted from the hurricane.
Thanks for catching up with me!
