Thank you to our stakeholders for your support of Alberta Farmers!
AgKnow is a new initiative that does not have the benefit of reserve funds, which is why we are reaching out to our stakeholders for support to continue delivering mental health resources and services to farm families over the summer and into fall. Help us continue delivering services and support for Alberta Farmers!

COMMODITY STAKEHOLDERS
Thank you to these groups for their generous financial contributions.

We also want to thank the stakeholders who have supported AgKnow, through research collaborations, feedback, and engagement. Thank you to these and the many others who have shared information in their newsletters and communications with farmers.

This fall, AgKnow is focusing on promoting suicide awareness and building resilience in the agriculture community. We're pleased to present these upcoming events to connect farmers, mental health professionals and healthcare providers to strengthen support systems and improve mental health outcomes on the farm. Please register early to attend one of our events.

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BRAIN STORY MATERIALS The Resilience Scale metaphor depicts how adversities, positive supports, and acquired skills and abilities interact to influence resilience. The Resilience Scale classes present tools that are immediately applicable to various practices, including with children and families.

ATTENTION THERAPISTS The online Brain Story course provides a certificate and, in some cases, credit through professional accreditation bodies. Please note: CEU credits will be dependent upon the approval of the various counselling professional associations and governing bodies.
Mental Health practitioner
“...we could implement the resilience scale in our practice - it could help with assessment and intervention.”
