Hi friends,

I don’t know how it’s Sunday already.

I had a blurry-fast week. I spent two days sick in bed with something called Mastitis, which is related to nursing, with symptoms of fever, chill and ugly night sweating. Luckily, I did not need antibiotics, just plenty of rest, Panadol Advance, and chicken soup.

The rest of the week shaped-up nicely, especially with my friends visiting to see the baby before they traveled.

I spent so much time working on today’s sparks that I don’t have time to write you a longer love note. When I say “so much time,” I mean babies’ time zone. You see, Basil is with my mum as I type these words, which means he could need me at any minute since he is not asleep, so I’m on a tight schedule. By the way, this is his 3rd visit to my parents.

Enjoy today's sparks.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 3 sparks that I thought were worth starting your week with:

1. 👍 Working in customer experience was the highlight of my professional career; once you learn about customer experience, you can not unsee it everywhere you turn. I remember the excitement my coworkers and I felt when we discovered that ease is, in fact, the highest correlated factor to brand loyalty. That's why this article resonated so much: Make it Twice as Easy. So, whether you are a designer, a customer care agent, or a business owner, are you making it easy for your clients to take action? A book I highly recommend about this topic that I even gifted to my boss is called The Effortless Experience. It is also available at Readers Jordan. Learn more here.

2.  ✨ The antidote to blurry days? Denser memories.

3. 💬 🏠 Since I am spending all my time at home, reading this quote from a book called Simple Abundance resonated a lot. It seems one of my life's purposes is to improve my relationship with stuff and my beautiful home, which I started a few years ago with decluttering habits and made massive progress in lately as I shared in previous editions of the Sunday Spark:

“So I want to wrap you in my arms and reassure you that it doesn’t matter where you live today or the why behind your leaving it tomorrow. You may be rooming in a motel or seeking sanctuary in a safe house halfway between your past and your future. You may be without a roof to call your own, camping out on a friend’s couch, in your sister’s bedroom, or on a community cot. You may be locked in a tower until you can grow your hair long enough to make a fairy-tale escape or pitching a tent on the dark side of the moon. Heaven knows, I’ve lived in some of these settings at one time or another. What makes any dwelling place worthy are the dreams you cradle close while you’re sheltered, temporarily, in this transitional terminal toward tomorrow.”

( Readwise helped me find this quote. It is my favorite app to recall favorite passages in books and articles I read and now they have a new product, Reader, which will make you forget about all the other read-it-later apps)
