a look at our 40th anniversary gala

On Friday, September 20, Britepaths hosted our 40th Anniversary Gala at Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles. More than 240 guests filled the Washingtonian Ballroom to celebrate with us and support this event filled with inspiration and meaning. Virginia House Delegate David Bulova, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chair Jeffrey C. McKay, and Fairfax City Mayor Catherine Read delivered remarks about the impact Britepaths is making in our region. Prince William County poet laureate emerita Kim B Miller and award-winning multi-disciplinary artist Kelly Haneklau performed a dynamic spoken word and speed painting duet. Roshon Casey-Lee shared the powerful story of her journey and how Britepaths has made a difference for her family.

Britepaths' 40th Anniversary activities and events generated more than $200,000
in cash and in-kind contributions. Thank you to all our generous donors and sponsors!

Many Marshall Road Elementary students face food insecurity outside of school hours. Britepaths' Food4Thought program provides weekend food packs to ensure children can access nutritious meals when they're not at school. Marshall Road ES is collecting donations of non-perishable food items and grocery store gift cards to support this vital initiative. Please get in touch with Krista Davidson at kmdavidson@fcps.edu for any questions regarding donations.
Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of local children and their families.
