Preparing for Vata Season

The time has come. The transition has begun. The tides are turning and Vata season is on the horizon. But Summer isn't over just yet! 
 
The transition from Summer to Fall - or Pitta to Vata Season in Ayurveda - is a crucial one. As external temperatures start to cool and leaves fall from the trees, our internal environment needs to mirror a similar pattern - one of cooling, releasing and letting go. 🍂
 
If there is one thing to know about Ayurveda, it's that vata reigns. If the elemental forces of air and ether are left unchecked, dis-ease will quickly set in. As the doshic force responsible for approximately 80% of all imbalances, the time to start managing vata and releasing pitta is NOW.
 
Luckily, we have so many ways for us to connect this Fall and to reestablish balance within. 😌
