Welcome
Hi First name / friend,

It is the end of August and we hope you had a lovely Summer or Winter, depending on where you are in the world đŸ€

We spent the Summer at the Atelier and it was all about designing, knitting, slowing down and enjoying Nature. You may have spotted photos taken by the Sea with our upcoming collection, that we joyfully photographed in Sunny Marseille, creating imagery we have grown very fond of. We hope you will find it inspiring too!

We have now started preparing with a lot of energy the coming exciting and driven months! We will be present at different festivals, including Knit Eat in Lyon (France), My Swiss Mailles in Orbe (Switzerland) and Barcelona Knits in Barcelona (Spain)!

We have also prepared a detailed Designs launching plan for the upcoming collection (unsurprisingly with many jumpers!), created with our different yarn bases and many gorgeous colors. Exciting months ahead!

We are thrilled to pick our Newsletter up again (with its completely new style!) to present the launch of our new design: the Sensommer Vest!

On the photos
The Blue version is a size X-Small and is knit with the color “Soft Blue Green” with a contrasting color in “Beige”. It is the same vest in both following photos (at the sea and in the studio), but the photo at the sea being taken with film and an analog camera, the colors have come out more vintag-y and warm. The more real color is the one you will see in the photo taken in the little studio, a color more blue than green.

The Cream version is a size Large and is knit with the color “Cream” and with a contrasting color in “Light Peach”. It can be worn as an oversize vest, with an extra fancy-looking touch over a shirt, or tighter without making it oversize.

Construction
It is designed with a single thread, and a small colorwork pattern on the lower part of the body, bringing a lovely detail, and a joyful contrasting color.

It is worked in the round up to the armholes and then back and forth. It is also possible to work it in two pieces and knit it back and forth all the way.
"I love the texture this yarn provides—it's soft and doesn't snag, making knitting very enjoyable. The colors are truly beautiful. To be honest, it’s one of my favorite cotton yarns."

– Joanna @joann.fil
"Most of my designs come about organically and are often inspired by a texture, a type of yarn or a colour. I particularly love the Biches et Buches yarns for there amazing quality. Any garment knitted in them feels special. The colour palette is also absolutely perfect."
