I've had a bit of a wrench thrown into my machine. The email list management platform I've been using (Mad Mimi) since I started this whole thing 14 years ago is going away. Kaput - ffftttâŚgone. Not to worry, all my lists - Contacts, Subscribers, Site Members, Customers etc. are safe. And, of course, MasterGuitarSchool.com is functioning just fine. But I've been researching what email marketing platform to go to with all you guys.
Mad Mimi recommended GoDaddy Email Marketing and offered to migrate all my data so I took them up on it. You may have noticed the monthly newsletter that mailed August 13 looked a little different than usual. That was from the new GoDaddy acct. If you didn't see it, you can access it as a blog HERE.
I know you guys don't care about the trials and tribulations that go on behind the scenes - not your problem - so I'll keep this short.
The bottom line is that I am not happy with GoDaddy, I haven't been able to do what I was doing with Mad Mimi in terms of staying in touch with you guys.
I've now landed at FloDesk. It looks very promising. So I'm going to send this offer out as a test to see if I can do here what I have been doing all along.
