When I first set out to create Freedom Barre & Wellness, accessibility was of the upmost importance to me. I personally struggled to find accessible ways to move that brought me joy once college volleyball was over. That struggle got even harder once I had kids.
I dabbled in many things, but it wasn't until I found barre through an online fitness platform that things really began to click for me. Having an online option to move on my own time, in my own space, without having to drive anywhere was crucial for me working full time with two small kids. But I also loved being in community in person with other like-minded folx. I missed rolling my eyes with friends during challenging sequences and chopping it up after class with instructors.
There was something valuable for me with both options. And now, as a studio owner myself, I want to make sure the clients I work, who need and want different things, also have these same options. That is why all FBW classes are offered both online and in person.
Most regular clients take the hybrid approach and utilize both class types. The feedback has been so positive that there is flexibility with how they can access classes depending on the ebb and flow of their weekly schedules. This also means you won't have to miss barre if you're out of town!
There are still spaces available both online and in person for this evening's 6pm class.
