Join us for a unique and rejuvenating experience that combines the healing and calming practice of restorative yoga alongside the healing power of trigger point therapy. In this workshop, you'll learn to release tight muscles, ease into relaxation, and discover techniques to manage muscle tension and knots on your own after preparing the body with intentional mobility based strength exercises.
What to Expect:
* Breathwork and Intention Setting: Cultivate mindfulness through breathwork and intention setting.
* Strength Workshop: Learn targeted drills and exercises that will help you strengthen the muscles that are essential to your physical asana practice, and everyday mobility. These exercises will not only help you on and off the mat, but help you prepare the body before settling into our restorative practice.
* Restorative Yoga: We’ll end with an intentional, soothing restorative yoga workshop coupled with hands-on trigger point therapy. You’ll be guided through passive, supportive shapes and learn how to use props in your practice.
* Trigger Point Therapy: Hands-on trigger point therapy will be used to encourage your connective tissue to release tension and rehydrate, while soothing stiff and sore muscles.
This hands-on workshop is not just about physical healing; it's a journey to reconnect with your body through movement, understand your own personal range of motion, and liberate areas that feel "stuck" or "tight." Get ready to say "ahhh!" to an intentional, relaxed and rejuvenated you.
