Letter from the Vice-President
Happy Labor Day! As we celebrate the impact of hardworking Americans, it is good to have a day to celebrate with family and friends. I am looking forward to cooler temperatures. This will make it easier to quilt in our special spaces. I have several projects ready to go under my machine. One is in progress; I had a friend bring me a packet of scrap material from Hawaii. It is coming out great. I am also preparing
to make a bag for my husband to carry his wallet and keys. Hopefully, it will be easy on his back, and everything won’t end up in my bag when we go out.

I am looking forward to the program next Monday. We will have a sew day starting at 4 pm at the church. Please bring your machines and sewing tools. We will be making quilts for the C. Cater Crane House. Pizza will be served.

Please RSVP if you are coming early.
Our program will be Kathy Hepner and the faces construction. This is before the upcoming workshop on the 14th. I would also like to remind those interested that we will be having a Quilt Show meeting on Sunday, September 8 th at Quilt N Bee in Cache, at 2 pm.
In the meantime, happy quilting!
Barbara
