  • Amygdala Hijack (fancy way to say “stuck in your head”)
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Total Shut Down
  • Feels like Your Drowning
BEING PROACTIVE IS:
  • Focus (Keep your Eye on the Prize)
  • Provides NEEDED Motivation
  • Developing Skills
  • Helps You Stay Present
  • Time Management (Imagine Time to Breathe)
  • Relieves and Prevents Stress
  • Forward Thinking
  • Builds Self Esteem and Confidence
As ADHDers we forget that being Reactive DOES NOT feel good. It hurts and it is uncomfortable. 
 
Set yourself, your family or your kids up for success. Being Proactive just feels good.
