As we continue in our series called WHOLE, we’ll be unpacking “Emotional Formation,” which is a way of understanding how God is just as interested in what is going on inside of us (our feelings, emotions, etc.) as our spiritual formation. The problem is that we often think that God only cares about the “spiritual” stuff, and the emotional stuff is up to us. We all deal with emotions every day of our lives, and understanding them as part of our journey toward wholeness will definitely increase your awareness of what it means to look inside.

With God’s help and guidance, the LPNC has presented Phyllis Myung to the Elder Board as our lead pastor nominee, who has approved. Now, Phyllis will be visiting us from Boston so the congregation can get the opportunity to meet her during the week of her visit.
The LPNC is preparing Phyllis' Nominee Welcome Week from September 29th - October 6th, and we encourage you to meet her, to prepare for a vote by the membership.

On September 8th at 12 PM, we will be having our membership class at the church office! We will go through the history of our church and explain what we believe as a church. This is the way you can officially become a member of New City, which also gives you the right to vote for our new lead pastor candidate. Grow+Serve is the way we do life with one another throughout the week. We meet in different areas to have fellowship and learn together about God. We also participate in service projects that serve the community.
Due to the availability of LATC, we will be worshiping at the church office from October 20th to November 10th at 10 AM. Please make note of this in your calendar.
