Hello First name / Quilter,

My thanks to everyone who participated in the Labor Day sale on Etsy. I decided to keep it going for my shop on physical items because I won't be taking those with me when we travel. So if you would like a physical pattern or fabric, check out the listings at https://phoebemoondesigns.etsy.com .  Use coupon code SEPTSALE for 25% off.  This sale ends Sept 16.

In related news, Connecting Threads gave me a gift to give y'all.  It's a coupon code good for 10% off, but don't use it yet. Their STASH20 coupon code gives you 20% off through Monday, May 9.  After that you can use ACTKRIS for 10% off.  Yes, that even works on sale items!

I had hoped that being an ambassador would give me physical items to give away, but that didn't happen this month. I guess that's okay, 10% off is probably worth more than a fat quarter.

#QuiltBlockMania was Tuesday
Did you recognize the Wagon Wheel block?  Kansas City Star called it Squirrel in a Cage. The block tutorial and pattern is available free on the Scrapdash.com blog.

My day for the Be Kind Blog Hop is Sept 23, and I have a surprise for you! It's not a single pattern, but a series of them.  You'll see!

But speaking of Mystery Quilts, I am going through my designs now, trying to decide what I will do for the upcoming mysteries.

I've kinda decided on the Super Sunday quilt. It's an easy one, as always, that can be made in a variety of sizes. But I need some inspiration for the New Years Eve one. It will probably be throw size, and I do have some ideas, but I haven't written anything yet. If you have any ideas of size or style, please hit reply and let me know.

Some of the links below are affiliate links (which means I get a commission on the sale, but it doesn't raise your price) and some are not. Be assured that I don't promote anything just for the money - it has to be a real value to my community.

Accuquilt's Live Event last week was advertised as a Breath of Fresh Air.  It turned out to be a Pine Burr!  Honestly, that is something I would not try on my own.  They do sell the die for setting it on point, but I am going to refer you to the article on PhoebeMoon about setting a quilt or block on point. Always helpful to know those formulas and have a reference.

Next weeks event is called A Double Die Launch.  I'm not even going to guess at this one, but I have always been fascinated by two blocks that combine to make a whole new design. If you are too, be sure to sign up ahead of time so you are eligible for the door prizes.
Sales this week are $50 Off GO! Qube Products (Use Code: 50QUBE) and 50% Off Studio Dies & Bundles (Use Code: STUDIO50). That last one makes me a little nervous. It's unusual for a company to give 50% off unless they are closing out something.

In honor of National Sewing Month, Accuquilt is also giving 15% off embroidery downloads.  thinking about buying an embroidery machine that you can use with Accuquilts embroidery downloads, you might want to look at the ones at Sewing Machines Plus. I like that company.  I've bought one machine, a bunch of notions and some specialty feet from them, and have always found them reasonably priced and fast to ship.

CreativeBug is extending their Labor Day sale.   You can join their monthly program free for the first 60 days.  After that, it's $8 a month. There are a LOT of classes on a huge variety of crafty topics. Take a look and see if you might like to explore a new craft.

The Fat Quarter Shop has a special of the month on Moda fabrics. Looks like a lot of good fabrics you can use for fall.  Here's a fun free pattern you might want to try. It's called Follow Me Fish, but I see geese flying south.  If you have some autumn scraps, try making a couple blocks and see what you think.
