Here comes the fall. The weather in Istanbul just switched to the fall weather, and you can easily realise October is coming. September is back to school month, and I enjoy September as it is also going back to routines after resting during and enjoying the holidays.

 

I have exciting October plans. September was all about birth education sessions and European Doula Network (EDN) office work. And at the start of October, I'll be traveling to France for the annual EDN Conference. This year, it will take place in Lille with 200 doulas. This will be my first conference as a core-organiser. I am so looking forward to see and hug my doula sisters, and I am really excited.

 

A few more updates from me:

 

• We, as the Turkey Doula Alliance, have started our meetings for the EDN Annual Conference 2026, which will take place in Turkey. Although there are still two years to go, this is a good time to start.

 

• I traveled to Georgia to teach at a doula training, and I have written a blog post about the experience, which you can find in this newsletter.

 

My next newsletter will definitely be about the conference.
