Sunday is the official start to fall….. Are you ready? I know we are! Now is the time for the next round of fertilizer so stop in and grab yours!
We have been at another market this week. We are already excited for spring, we have some nice things coming to you! We have been doing our research and talking to the experts on the products we are bringing in. We want to make sure they'll work and thrive in our area with our climate.
Have to been in the greenhouse lately and noticed a bench full of soil? We have added a succulent soil bench. So if you have a container that you want to plant some succulents in, bring it in, and pick out some succulents. Don't have a container? We have some great ones at the greenhouse you can pick out!
Some of our fall trees and shrubs have arrived!!! Yes you read it right we will have some trees and shrubs this year and now is the ideal time to plant them!
Our mums are setting buds, and the yellow ones are trying to crack color. The ornamental cabbage, and kale are looking great right now and the 6.5" are huge! The pansies, violas, dusty miller, snapdragons, and dianthus are all looking great and loving the cooler weather. If you pre-ordered your fall flowers, I will be contacting you soon as they are getting close to being planted.
We have started back our Thursday evenings on the patio! TOMORROW will be singer Lindi Leigh and food truck This Little Piggy Serves Food. September 26th will be garden trivia with some questions from the seminar as well as prizes, the food truck The 806 Fix. October 3rd will be the DIY pumpkin class with food truck StiX. Watch our Facebook for the other Thursday evenings events and food trucks as I am finalizing the rest of October and November. Trust me you don't want to miss it!
Pumpkins will be here and ready for you to start buying on Friday! The guys are leaving early Thursday morning to go pick them up.
Autumn Harvest @ PGH will be October 5th from 9:30-5pm! We have a lot of vendors coming out as well as food trucks. This will be the kickoff to fall! Come out support your local business's (the vendors have posted on the Facebook event page as to what they will be bringing, so make sure and check it out and come out to support other local business owners) as well as grabbing you some beautiful flowers. We will also have pumpkins, gourds, corn, and corn stalks here for all your decoration needs!
