Hello First name

THE NURTURING NEURODIVERGENCE PROGRAMME - Virtual Conference 2024

For the past few years (I've lost count how many now!) I've been honoured to be asked by Jodie Isitt of The Nurture Programme to speak at her annual, online conference. I thought that she'd be sick of me by now, but nope, I was asked back for 2024's conference
On 17 and 18 October you can attend online training, interactive workshops and Q&A sessions with 11 speakers; all to transform the way you support and connect with neurodivergent minds.

You'll leave feeling empowered and equipped with practical tools to make a real difference. And I have a brand new training and workshop, created just for the conference.

My talk is called; “The importance of being an ‘Island of Safety.'"

It will highlight the importance of you being an Island of Safety in the life of a young Neurodivergent person you support.

My talk and workshop will ;
  • Help you to understand the concept of ‘felt-safety’
  • Explain what happens when you have rarely experienced ‘felt-safety’
  • Explain why ‘felt-safety’ is needed
  • Explain what a ‘Safe Island’ is
  • The importance of Safe Islands for marginalised people
  • The 4 As of the Advoc8 Framework©️ and how they link to ‘felt-safety’
But I'm not the only one presenting!

Look at just a few of the line up…
Kelly Mahler - will be talking about what the latest research and lived experience tells us about interoception and co-regulation.
Jodie Clarke - will be talking about Autistic Burnout; Recovery and Re-wilding in children and young people.
Luke Beardon - will be talking about how anxiety can be crippling for so many autistic children and adults.
Tanya Adkin & Mary Cartlidge - will be talking about Parent Carer Blame and Fabricated and Induced Illness.

HOW MUCH?
Obviously there is a cost to run an event as good this one and this year a ticket is £99, but you can currently get yours for £75 (about $100USD)

That gets you access to all of the talks and also recordings of the talks too (so if 'life happens' during the conference you can catch up).

You can find out about all of the speakers and book your place here.

QUESTIONS?
Jodie has a full set of FAQs on the website to answer any questions you have. See all of the FAQs here.

And if I can answer any questions about my talk and workshop specifically then just ask away.

Send me a reply if you're coming along and let me know who you're most looking forward to.

That's all for this update.
