But thereās more to Chris than just his professional expertiseāheās also a keen musician who regularly plays guitar and sings, blending creativity with his business acumen.
To help you get to know Chris better, weāve asked him a few fun and insightful questions. Hereās what he had to sayā¦
As you step into your role as Business Development Coordinator, what excites you about working with our team and clients?
Although Iāve never formally worked at IPP Iāve always been in orbit, and because of that I know that the team and clients are a down to earth, common-sense and approachable bunch. Iām certainly pleased to now be working with lovely people. Outside of that Iām looking forward to equip brands with polythene and plant-based products as well as waste-tracking tech to support a greener future!
Youāve worn many hatsādirect marketing consultant, brand partnership manager, media sales managerāand now business development coordinator. How do you think your previous experience has shaped your approach to business development?
My previous roles had their nuances but the key things Iāll take from my experiences are universal ā work smart, not hard and be myself
As a talented musician who plays guitar and sings, whatās your go-to song to perform, and how does music inspire or influence your work life?
Your words are very generous here, but anything fun or silly. I love performing and writing music but I donāt take myself too seriously. You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate obviouslyā¦.
If you could collaborate with any musician or band (living or dead), who would it be and why?
Bee Gees, easily. Always considered myself the 4th memberā¦.
Youāve had an impressive career in direct marketing and media sales. If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting out in those industries, what would it be?
Mind the acronyms and be yourself, you da man!
Welcome aboard, Chrisāit's clear you'll be "Stayin' Alive" with us for a long time!
