We’re thrilled to welcome Chris Marsh to the team as our new Business Development Coordinator. Chris comes to us with a diverse background, having worked as a direct marketing consultant, brand partnership manager, and media sales manager. His wealth of experience and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our client relationships.
But there’s more to Chris than just his professional expertise—he’s also a keen musician who regularly plays guitar and sings, blending creativity with his business acumen.
To help you get to know Chris better, we’ve asked him a few fun and insightful questions. Here’s what he had to say…
As you step into your role as Business Development Coordinator, what excites you about working with our team and clients?
Although I’ve never formally worked at IPP I’ve always been in orbit, and because of that I know that the team and clients are a down to earth, common-sense and approachable bunch. I’m certainly pleased to now be working with lovely people. Outside of that I’m looking forward to equip brands with polythene and plant-based products as well as waste-tracking tech to support a greener future!
You’ve worn many hats—direct marketing consultant, brand partnership manager, media sales manager—and now business development coordinator. How do you think your previous experience has shaped your approach to business development?
My previous roles had their nuances but the key things I’ll take from my experiences are universal – work smart, not hard and be myself
As a talented musician who plays guitar and sings, what’s your go-to song to perform, and how does music inspire or influence your work life?
Your words are very generous here, but anything fun or silly. I love performing and writing music but I don’t take myself too seriously. You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate obviously….
If you could collaborate with any musician or band (living or dead), who would it be and why?
Bee Gees, easily. Always considered myself the 4th member….
You’ve had an impressive career in direct marketing and media sales. If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting out in those industries, what would it be?
Mind the acronyms and be yourself, you da man!
Welcome aboard, Chris—it's clear you'll be "Stayin' Alive" with us for a long time!
