IT’S MY FAVORITE SEASON OF ALL, First name / friend!

And no, I’m not talking about fall. 🍂

Even though yes, fall IS my favorite season ever, you probably already know that, especially if you follow me on Instagram.

So this isn’t an email to tell you more about how I get my personality back when the air gets crisp, and the pumpkin spice returns, and the sweatshirts finally get to have their moment.

Although that’s very, very true. I am my best self when the temps drop below 80.

Instead, this is an email about my favorite season in business…

QUARTERLY CONTENT PLANNING SEASON!!!! 🗓️💻✍🏼

If you’ve been around my world for any amount of time, you’ve likely heard my spiel on quarterly content planning before.

And that’s because it’s truly my favorite thing to do for myself, my clients, and with my Writer’s Room members.

In fact, I’ve been told that I’m CEO of Quarterly Planning – and ya know, that’s a title that I simply can’t argue with.

And while yes, you could argue that the reason this is my favorite thing to do is because I’m your classic Type A, planning obsessed girlie, there’s more to it than that.

Even if you’re more of the spontaneous, fly by the seat of your pantser, don’t like to be held to a schedule type of person, I promise that YOU can still benefit from the quarterly planning process that I teach.

NEW! Quarterly Blog Content Calendar Notion Template

Wanna know one of the main reasons that most people don’t stick with blogs in their business… or worse never start one at all?

Because they can’t figure out how to be consistent with it.

One day they’re fired up about writing blog content, they publish a blog post, their audience actually really vibes with it, but then…

Life happens. Business happens. Things get busy.

And the blog content they were once really excited to create starts to fall to the wayside.

The solution? A quarterly blog content plan!

Consistency is just ONE reason that planning your blog content in advance matters so much – here’s the other four ⬇️
Once you understand WHY having a quarterly blog content plan matters so much, I know what your next question will probably be…

But HOW? I have a signature 4 step process to help you out ⬇️
But BEFORE you start planning, it’s important to ask yourself 4 strategic questions:
  1. What’s happening in my business this quarter? (Launches, promotions, etc.)
  2. What’s happening in my life this quarter? (Birthday, other milestones, etc.)
  3. What’s happening in the world this quarter? (Holidays, national days, etc.)
  4. What relevant content topics make the most sense for this season?
And if you’re an “anti-planner”? That’s cool! ⬇️
Once you read up on the why and how of quarterly blog content planning and decide that it’s something you want to do for Q4, my BEST piece of advice is to plan all of your content in one place so it’s extremely organized and you never lose a content idea.

It can be on a spreadsheet, Google Doc, or your favorite project management system, like ClickUp or Asana.

But if you’re a Notion stan, I created something that I think you’re gonna LOVE! 👀

I've always been a spreadsheet girlie, but this year I've really been loving Notion and have found myself migrating almost everything (for my business AND my life) to my dashboard.

It's the easiest way to truly keep everything in one place and customize it to fit my needs for whatever I'm working on.

Which is why I decided it was time to transfer my quarterly blog content calendar over to Notion too!

And since I know that so many others also use Notion and love it, I don't want to keep this to myself.

The $27 template includes:
  • Quarterly tables with columns for publish date, draft due date, blog category, subject, title, keywords, and more
  • Sections for major holidays and national days so your blog content stays seasonally relevant
  • A Blog Content Brain Dump section for storing and organizing all of your blog content ideas in one place
Oh and if you vibe with this whole quarterly planning situation and don’t wanna do it alone next quarter, then The Writer’s Room is the place for you.

Every quarter we meet as a group for Quarterly Blog Content Planning Parties and they’re a member favorite. 🎉
