Biches & Bûches • Design Launch
The Seaside Jumper
We are so happy to launch the Seaside Jumper! We have loved preparing a little visual diary that we made on the coast, and hope you will have a good time enjoying the photographs.
Seaside Jumper was inspired by details from a polo neck, a romantic touch leading to Flower buds, a cosy boxy slightly oversized shape and an elegant look. It is a lovely Woolen blend with Le Petit Lambswool, Le Petit Silk & Mohair, and Le Gros Silk & Mohair.
For days we couldn't decide on the name for this cosy new jumper but by the time we were watching all the photographs, Seaside became an obvious choice.

Construction
Seaside Jumper is worked with a strand of Le Petit Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair held together throughout for the body and the ribbings.
We begin with the lower body ribbing and then we continue in stockinette stitch, in the round, to the armholes.
From here, we work flat to the shoulders, with the Flower Buds motif.
The ribbings are worked in a contrasting color and the small Flower Buds are worked in a strand of Le Gros Silk & Mohair.
Stitches for the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and the sleeves are worked top-down and in the round.

Originally made in the Light Peach version, a darker version with the gorgeous Grey Brown quickly followed 🤎 We could also completely picture it in a Dark Grey and Off White or Beige combination, or even play with colors like a Light Yellow or a Dark Blue.
Cosy at home and cosy on the stones, we are so thrilled to present the Seaside Jumper and its launch. It is now available as knitting kit, pattern, both on bichesetbuches, and on Ravelry. The pattern is written in English and French!
We now also have little Biches & Bûches labels! A little fancy finishing touch to sew on your finished jumper. The label is now part of your Seaside Jumper Knitting kit 🐚
Another great surprise and big news on biches & bûches
Petite Knit x Hjelholt
We are thrilled to share that we have just welcomed the Wool Triple from Hjelholt, that Petite Knit designed her new and soon-to-be-launched Dagmar Jacket with! This is in collaboration with Petite Knit and Hjelholt, and we are thrilled to now offer the original Wool Bundle (without the pattern) for this design!
We chose to launch it with the original Cream color (no. 42), along with a gorgeous brown color called Nougat (no. 43).
The original Wool Bundle for Petite Knit's Dagmar Jacket (pattern launching next week), is now available on Biches & Bûches 🐚
Thank you for being on this gorgeous woolen journey with us, we hope you feel inspired and wooly energized! We wish you a lovely weekend,
Warmly,
