Location: TBD
Greenwich Food Alliance has been meeting bi-monthly as a Community of Practice since November 2021. Thank you to all who have participated and supported GFA in some capacity - we would not have made it this far without your participation. And, it's time to restructure so we can grow and deepen our work together.
I am excited to share that Karen Saggese will co-lead GFA. Karen is the Co-Site Director at Food Rescue-US Fairfield County. She works closely with the CT Zero Waste Coalition, and other statewide initiatives. Karen stewards a robust home garden (including chickens + quail) is an avid food justice advocate, attorney by trade, a mother of three and a remarkable colleague and friend to many of us! Thank you Karen for joining us in taking GFA into its next phase.
At our November meeting we look forward to your feedback/input on our proposed GFA restructuring plan.
Please feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested in
getting involved or who is already doing this work and would like
to be represented within the Alliance.
