FACTS Delivered.
to consider a NO vote to Ballot Questions 6, 7 & 8

They say Medford Schools are chronically underfunded and question 7 will get more money to the schools.

FACT IS according to the MA State Dept of Elementary & Secondary education the state average cost per pupil is
$19, 714 and MEDFORD cost per pupil is $21, 372 (outspending most neighboring cities)
  • Arlington =$18,615
  • Malden = $17,428
  • Somerville = $$23,958 (Just built a new school)
  • Melrose = $15,540
  • Peabody = $16,996
  • Mystic Valley Charter School = $14,167
Do you know how top heavy Medford School Administration is?
Where is the EXACT BUDGET for where THIS money will be spent?  Would your family make a MAJOR purchase or investment without knowing exactly what you would get for it? Have you seen the major increase in spending EVERY YEAR since Superintendent Eduoard- Vincent took over?

MORE MONEY IS NOT THE SOLUTION,
 BETTER MANAGEMENT IS.

They say VOTING yes on 7 will get the streets fixed.

Let's face it folks- this has become a BAD joke!  There is 34 Million dollars in FREE CASH (your overpayment of taxes). They have the money- they still aren't fixing the streets- how many claims has the city had to pay out on people falling or popping tires on the road?

MONEY IS NOT THE SOLUTION,
BETTER MANAGEMENT IS.

They say Question 8 will fund the vocational school.

FACT IS Medford has such a robust, very well run & fully funded vocational school, well below capacity that it allows students in from other cities-  bringing more income in.

Pat on the back to Principal Chad Fallon,
guess THAT group missed the memo!

NOTHING TO FIX HERE!

They say Question 8 will get the teachers and para's a raise-

THEY STILL HAVEN'T received their raise from almost 2 years ago! You had the money- you didn't pay them.
Yet the School Committee, Superintendant, administration and Mayor all ‘took’ a nice raise.

How many teachers/paras left Medford?
How many teachers/paras were layed off in 2024?

There are currently 59 open positions in Medford Public Schools- they must have the money to fund them or they wouldn't be advertising them.

MONEY IS NOT THE SOLUTION,
BETTER MANAGEMENT IS.
