Greetings, dear community of Melbourne & BEYOND, We are so honoured to extend this invitation to you for an extraordinary private gathering that holds deep meaning for us. It is with immense gratitude that we will be joined by international ritual facilitator and multidimensional teacher, Liv Wheeler, who has been a powerful presence in our lives for over a decade. Together, weāve shared transformative moments and witnessed the profound impact she brings to all who gather in ceremony. With this in mind, we offer Remembering, Recreating the Village & Merging of the Waters, a sacred event where two potent lineagesāthe Mahua of the Shipibo tribe and the Dagara tradition of West Africaācome together to guide you in a journey of purification, restoration, and expansion. We have received the permission and blessings from the elders of these lineages to share these ancient ways of communicating with spirit, ancestors, and the otherworld. This event is designed to allow participants to experience varying depths of connection. This retreat will be a time of remembrance and reconnection to both your own lineage and the ancestors of this land. |

Liv Mokai Wheeler is a KontomblƩ Voice Diviner initiated by the Dagara tribe of Burkina Faso, West Africa, under the guidance of Elder Malidoma Patrice SomƩ. The KontomblƩ are a nation of little beings, part of a larger family of spiritual entities like the Fey and Elves, who have been Gaia's allies since the beginning of time. They work in harmony with the Tree of Life and carry the knowledge needed to restore the essential golden essence within us all.
Liv enters into a shamanic trance to bring forth the messages of the KontomblĆ© through their original tongue, which she translates into English. Their messages often open up profound healing, remembrance, and guidance, helping us realign with our soulās highest potential and the greater flow of life. The KontomblĆ© are lighthearted beings, deeply loving, and gifted at seeing a soulās potential. My work with the KontomblĆ©, in this lifetime, was ignited by way of my 8 year multidimensional studying with Elder Malidoma SomĆ©, beginning in 2005. I journeyed to his tribal homeland with him to Burkina Faso, West Africa, and was traditionally initiated into KontomblĆ© divining. Elder Malidoma, through the years, continued to encourage me to take my place, as he saw it, as a teacher of the ways of the KontomblĆ©. Since 2005, Iāve journeyed to Burkina Faso, West Africa 5 times, spending a month there each time. Iāve been initiated by the KontomblĆ© many times by now in order to carry and share the medicine that may be supportive to those that Iām blessed to work with on my journey. There is a village of KontomblĆ© that I work with, and in many ways, also live with multidimensionally. During each of my trips to Burkina, the various diviners and shamans that I worked with would make mention of this village that sits with me. For the past 19 years, theyāve been teaching me and supporting my healing, growth, and evolution so that I may continue to be more able to be supportive to others. I love them dearly. They are family to me. As many times as Iāve sat in ceremony with them with individuals and communities around this beautiful earth, I continue to be amazed by their ways. Oftentimes they tickle me with the funny things that they say! Iāve learned so much from them. They are woven poetically and truly with the stream of life. They are wise, precise in their expression, and encourage us to remember our pure heart of innocence. Sitting with the KontomblĆ© and children in ceremony through the years has been particularly heart melting. They seem to have a way of seeing others deeply and multidimensionally simultaneously. They have a unique way of reflecting otherās brilliance in a way that is so heartwarming. They see the ancestors, guides, and guardians that are with the souls they sit with and also are in deep relations with them, somehow in the blink of an eye. What Iāve experienced through the years is the deep healing and transformation that can happen with this kind of way of loving another. They are genuine, highly artistic, wonderfully musical, and here in support of our evolution. Their transmissions seem to activate spiritual growth that is unique to each soul. Iād love to begin by honouring my long time teacher, Elder Malidoma Patrice SomĆ©, who is now an ancestor in the otherworld. Malidoma, I am devoted to life as I am now largely because of you. Thank you, eternally, for believing in me, for blessing me, for giving me the courage to walk into the path that you so patiently helped me to understand was the path true to my soul. I honour Sylvie the Great, Sylvie of the Fey. I honour my longtime gatekeeper and dear friend, Sylvie. Sylvie, you have been the one, The One that has been able to help bring to life the seemingly impossible assignments of the KontomblĆ© and the otherworld again and again. With the Grace of the Greats you have courageously and mightily woven true beauty and immense healing into this dimension. We lay flowers at the shrine of your being. I honour my dear friend, Natalie, who, I believe, perhaps somehow lives in the village with the KontomblĆ©. Each time the KontomblĆ© have laid out a great mission theyāve said, āInvite Natalie!ā Natalie, thank you eternally for your true friendship, for your courageous and beautiful heart, for the incredible medicine that you bless this dimension with. I am infinitely grateful for the work (that is truly love) that weāve been able to do together around the earth, hand in hand, with the KontomblĆ© and the otherworld. It was the elves that guided us to this incredible volcanic glacier peak in Iceland during the Summer Solstice. Why? I didnāt know why. I only knew it was important to them. I allowed that physical knowing to give me the courage to continue to find a way forward. That knowing also filled my lungs with the inspiration sufficient to trek up a glacier with spikes on my shoes as we heard the sound of water through the crunching of ice beneath us. We were all connected with each other by rope. We needed to really be steadily in tune with one another in order for the journey through the night to the heights of the glacier to be successful. Leading up to the trek and in the most magical and heart enlivening of ways, we learned that our glacier-guideās primary spirit guardian had let him know about us. It was also leading up to this sacred journey that I learned from my dear friend, Sylvie, that we very serendipitously would be hiking up the glacier during one of the elvesā holy days. I sometimes found myself wondering during that trip, were we somehow inside a dream or a bedtime story? It was real though. We were really being guided by the wee folkā¦ to honour and celebrate life. We were being guided into this vast ritual that I feel is still reverberating to this day in ways and waves. Spiritual journeys transform us. They can challenge us. They rearrange our molecular substance, when we allow them to. When we all arrived to the peak of the glacier, we held hands to pray for the earth. Many of us were weeping. Emotions and experiences were moving through us beyond what I was able to comprehend with my human self. By now, Iāve found that itās not necessary to understand the spiritual calling with our mind in order to trust in it from our heart. Sometimes what is needed is more wisdom and experience before things are able to āmake sense.ā Once we reach the peak, we can see so much more clearly. Meanwhile, our heart knows the way of Spirit. |
