Season of the Witch

Elphaba is busy prepping something special for the trick-or-treaters on Halloween night. Me? Since I have absinthe in the house, I plan to celebrate with a Necromancer cocktail (but just one because it's a school night). If I’m not too busy with little goblins and witches, I’ll post a photo of my drink on Instagram and Facebook. What, if anything, will you be doing on Halloween? Looking for haunted accommodations this Halloween? The Stanley Hotel in Colorado was the inspiration for Stephen King’s horror novel and film, The Shining. Though inspired by the movie, the Fisher Price Little People in my “Come Play” assemblage (photo below) aren’t nearly as sinister as the twins in the movie. I show you the before and after versions so you can see that your creations don't need to be complicated to be appreciated - even if you're the only one appreciating them. 🖤

October means the Pumpkinheads are back. And it looks like they picked up some new friends in the pumpkin patch! This dynamic duo was created with an abandoned doll body, broken groom cake topper, and jack-o-lantern PEZ dispensers.
