We listed to feedback from let holders that it was sometimes time consuming to identify when our hall and rooms were available for new bookings.

Having taken this on board it is now possible to view hall & room availability on our website at https://www.southsidecommunitycentre.co.uk/bookings/. This allows people to view our availability at anytime they wish easily and quickly.

Early feedback is being received that this is a really useful addition to our website, and seems to be working well so far.

We are grateful to the Arnold Clark Community Fund who have this month given us £1,000 to support our work in the centre.

A thousand pounds can make a real impact in our centre, and is very much welcomed.

We'll be using the funds to support the purchasing of materials for four existing centre groups.

We are very fortunate to have one of our green fingered neighbours generously give their time to our gardens.

Celia can often be found doing all manner of gardening related activities to help our gardens to look their best for centre visitors and the local community alike.

As a token of our appreciation Celia was presented with a card and flowers at our recent AGM.

One of the areas of the centre that we are keen to improve upon is the audio and projection capabilities within our hall.

This week we have received the very good news that the National Lottery Community Fund is providing us with £7,234 towards the works. This funding is made possibly by everyone who plays the National Lottery.

We'll share further news with you soon on the works, and hope to start very soon!
