On 27 September, 35 experts convened in Amsterdam to explore how finance can accelerate the transformation of food systems, with a strong focus on innovative financing and collaboration between public, private financial actors. Co-organized by NFP, Foresight4Food, and Rabo Partnerships, the event delved into key topics such as food systems thinking, financial flows to food systems, and the challenges faced by financial institutions in supporting food system transformation. Prominent speakers, including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FMO, Invest International, IDH, IFAD, and FAO, discussed both challenges and opportunities in financing the future of food.
