ARE YOU IN NEED OF A RESET?

Self care retreats
Nature heals
I spent a weekend at a spirituality retreat center in the middle of no where in Wisconsin and it reminded me of the power of nature, solitude, reciprocity with the land, and self care.

If you have never been to a retreat center, you love nature, and are in need of connection - whether with yourself - your intuition - nature- your creative side - or other peace seekers - booking a weekend for yourself could be just what you need.

In addition to being totally forest and star bathed, there is something so necessary for me to be fed. And I'm talking food! Real, whole food made with love. I take my responsibility to feed my family seriously and with joy, but man…does it feel so nurturing to be FED by someone else!

The best part is also FREE TIME. I've definitely had the moments in motherhood of “I don't even know what to do with myself.” And also been so busy “Can I just sit in silence and stare at a wall.” How about cozy up in your own private hermitage surrounded by sacred grounds or sit on a bench surrounded by the wisdom of trees and nature? Believe me…its MAGIC!

You don't have to fly somewhere or need a passport to “get away” and recharge (although I DO LOVE the beach!). Here are two of my favorite spots just a few hours from home. I've included my cliff notes of the best parts of each of these beautiful retreat centers! Go alone, with a friend or group of friends, or look for a retreat offered at one of these beautiful places. Your soul will thank you!
