I love scoring files for many reasons, one of which is how easy it is to convert a scoring file to an engraving file. Really, it's just one click to expand it! |

To prep a single line scoring file to be expanded for engraving: - Make sure all lines are how you want them, once you expand it's not easy to make edits anymore.
- Choose how thick you want the stroke to be—the thickness of the stroke is what the engraved fill line will look like.
- Decide if you want rounded caps and corners, which can be edited in the stroke panel.
- When you're ready, click object > expand > enter. You may need to take one more step and unite any overlapping lines. Done!

What's the last worst mistake you made in your business? Was it…deleting hours and hours of important video content with one accidental click?
