Happy Night Four, witches!

Tonight, we’re cooking up something different: image prompts that you can actually use, with a spooky twist of course! đŸ‘»

We’re talking Visual Electric—my current fave for turning wild ideas into visuals. And guess what? You can even use it while lying in bed, thanks to the mobile version. Who knew creativity could be so comfy?

If you haven't played with VE yet, it's like Midjourney or DALL-E, but it can turn your prompts into visuals that feel straight out of a fever dream (or maybe a creative nightmare, but in a good way).

Yeah, it doesn't nail it every time—sometimes you'll get a witch with three arms or a vampire that looks like it's seen better centuries—but honestly, neither do we. Imperfection is part of the charm, babe.

Getting started with VE is seriously so easy—no clunky Discord setup, just a simple, intuitive interface that gets you creating right away. So you can actually start casting some of your own creative spells for free right now—just sign up with your Gmail. That’s literally it.

If you're totally new and need a quick crash course on how to pick styles and aspect ratios that actually make your visuals pop, head to my IG and watch this walkthrough.

Spoiler: it involves a lot of teal fog and dramatic shadows.

Or check out some tutorial videos on their YouTube—it’s spooky how easy it is to get the hang of things. I'd suggest starting in the Images tab over Canvas if you're new to AI image generation.

But if you're a designer, photographer, or creative director coming from using Illustrator or Lightroom, you might wanna dive right into Canvas mode.

Ok, here's the damn prompt:

Promptober Night 4:
HALLOWEEN MARKETING IMAGES
Hi! Generate five Halloween-themed marketing prompts for my brand. First, ask for the following inputs:

Niche (e.g., beauty, fitness, food, fashion): [NICHE]

Audience (e.g., young professionals, fitness enthusiasts, moms, etc.): [AUDIENCE]

Product or Offering (e.g., skincare products, workout plans, baked goods, etc.): [PRODUCT OR OFFERING]

Brand Colors (e.g., black, orange, purple): [BRAND COLORS]

Call-to-Action or Key Phrase (e.g., ‘Glow Up,’ ‘Get Fit Now,’ ‘Sweet Treats Inside’): [CALL-TO-ACTION]

Based on the inputs, create three unique Halloween-themed prompts. Each prompt should follow this format: A [HALLOWEEN CHARACTER] holding or interacting with [OBJECT OR OFFERING] that features “[CALL-TO-ACTION]” in [BRAND COLORS] letters. The character is [ACTION], and [BRAND COLORS] [MAGICAL/SPIRITED HAPPENING] is happening around them. The vibe should appeal to [AUDIENCE] and reflect the [NICHE]. Ensure each prompt uses different Halloween characters, objects, and actions to keep it varied."

How to Use It: In Visual Electric, you can choose a style, do that and adjust the prompt as you go by “remixing” it and changing up the style or the prompt itself, play around and find something cool.

Use it as a teaser for something you're about to drop or announce—whether it’s for a new collection, an event that’s brewing, or just to get people talking.

Or use it for the announcement itself! Truly, so many ways to start creating images that feel and align with your brand.

Have ChatGPT help you write a caption: literally upload the image, tell it the goal of the post, your voice, audience and ask it to write a few captions for you and break down why they're good. Then tell it to make them better.

Lil' Bonus: Animate That Babe. Throw it in an AI video tool like Runway, Pika, or LumaLabs, and give it some motion. Nothing wild—just enough to have them side-eyeing their screen like, “Wait, did that just move?” Make it weird, make it wonderful, make them question reality for a sec.

Or! If the text isn't perfect, bring them into Canva and use the Magic Text tool to grab the text and turn it into live, editable text.

Alright, boos, go play!
