This time of the year is the sweet spot for sunrises; the position the earth puts the sun right outside the perfect window in my house to capture it. Plus, I wake up earlier than the sunrise right now so I can get my shit together to grab a video or picture. Stay tuned to Instagram for a flurry of sunrises.
As we continue to march toward the end of the year, I'm getting antsy for a new beginning. I am a change-junkie so new years, new months, new weeks, new days are my fave. I've got some big dreams and with every new sunrise I get a little closer to achieving them.
My big, hairy, audacious goals used to include things like more money, more time, more freedom, more flexibility. More, more, more. However, as I dive deeper in to what really lights me up, I've discovered I want less. Less overwhelm, less worry, less guilt, less stress, less anxiety, less people-pleasing. Less, less, less.
I genuinely want you to get to this place too. Life is too short and too precious to spend it tied up in knots. I've found some of the tools and resources that have worked for ME, but I want to help you find the ones that work for you. Whether you're a current or aspiring client of mine or never intend to be but like following along, I am in your corner.
If you resonate with any of the following challenges, you are my people:
Are you overwhelmed by responsibilities, striving to balance career or entrepreneurship, personal goals, and family life?
Do you feel burnout creeping in and struggle with setting boundaries at work and in your personal life?
Are you ambitious but find yourself stuck in the day-to-day operations, unable to scale because you're reluctant or unsure about how to delegate or outsource effectively?
Are you dealing with financial stress, such as debt, cash flow issues, or uncertainty around how to grow income?
Do you feel trapped by financial stress, unsure of how to manage your debt or how to increase your income?
Do you feel shame around money and struggle with limiting beliefs about your financial situation?
Do you want to build a career or business but struggle with confidence, time management, and taking the leap to fully embrace your potential?
Do you feel stuck in your current role and need help breaking free of self-doubt?
Would you like to push the Fuck It button tomorrow?
It's okay if you said yes to all of them. I did too. And while I'd love to promise that these things just magically disappear if you start meditating, saying no to your MIL and paying off all your debt, I can't.
What I can promise is that when you start putting yourself first, above all else, in a healthy, non-combative way, all of these things will be so easy to deal with you won't recognize them as challenges, just life.
Here are a few free resources I'm working on:

Wednesdays at Noon CST starting October 30th. As a member of our collective, you'll find support, inspiration, and collaboration with like-minded women who share your drive and vision, and likely struggle with some or all of the challenges listed above. Together, we build, grow, and empower one another to achieve our fullest potential.
This is a free, weekly one-hour Zoom meeting.
You do not have to be a business owner/founder.
Click here to join for free. (Even if you've been a member in the past, please join again; I have a new system.)
BLOG
I've had this blog for years and am finally cleaning it up and posting more often. I'll keep the above challenges in mind as I write articles going forward.
I know this email was a little different than the others. The coolest thing about having platforms to share your ideas and your authentic self is you get to decide what and how you share. One of the things I've been embracing for the last few years is that I am not going to be for everyone. And I know this sounds harsh, because we've been conditioned to want to be liked by everyone, I don't want to be everyone's cup of tea. I want to surround myself with the people that WANT to be here. Because if you WANT to be here, I WANT to be on your side. If you don't, that's absolutely okay…you'll just make more room for the ones that do.
It's a lovely place to be.
love, katy
P.S. You can always reply to this email with anything you'd like to share; suggestions, ideas, stories, inspiration. All of it.
