Hunter is not only an exceptionally skilled professional but also embodies values that are core to our community: honesty, dedication, and a tireless work ethic. We are confident that she will continue to be a driving force behind the growth and success of Charlotte Choir School in this new leadership role.
A 2022 graduate of Winthrop University with a Master of Arts in Arts Administration and a 2017 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre, Hunter brings a strong educational background to her work. While in college, she held the title of Performing Arts Coordinator for The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, then went on to begin her career as a Theater Arts educator, directing and teaching students. Her experience in both arts administration and education has uniquely prepared her for this leadership role.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Hunter enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and their two dogs, Ellie and Opie, as well as reading and collecting books, quilting, and watching true crime documentaries.
Please join us in congratulating Hunter on her well-deserved promotion, and in welcoming her continued leadership as our Director of Operations. We look forward to the many exciting initiatives ahead under her guidance.
Warm regards,
Raiford Gainey
