Hi there, First name / friend! I am so excited to send this email to you today as we're getting closer and closer to the biggest cross stitch event of the year- The Jingle Ball 2024!

The Jingle Ball is a party/retreat/celebration happening December 6-8th 2024 and it's 100% virtual! Join a collection of 12 cross stitch designers as they host classes, hold meet-and-greets, and open up virtual shopping booths for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home! The Jingle Ball also includes social stitching tables, exclusive cross stitch patterns, and loads of entertainment!

If you're not familiar with The Jingle Ball, I can promise you it's an event you DO NOT want to miss! You can find more information in the video linked at the end of this video on the website: TheJingleBall.net.

Today, I wanted to share with you the class I am teaching at the Jingle Ball!
Winter Woodland Star Pillow
Trimmed in sparkling beads reminiscent of icicles on evergreen, the Winter Woodland Star Pillow celebrates the beauty of nature! Join me as I walk you through how to make your own star shaped pillow and learn a finishing technique you can use in your future cross stitch finishes!

There is no pre-stitching required for this class. During class I will take you through the finishing process step-by-step and by the end of our time together you’ll know exactly how to fully finish your pillow, whenever you’re ready. This piece is aida friendly.

When signing up for my class, you'll see two different types of classes offered; a kitted class, or a PDF class. Choose the fully kitted class option if you’d like the class supplies delivered right to your door! If you enjoy gathering material yourself, or you’re an international stitcher then the PDF/digital class is right for you. Both class types include a series of emails with class details leading up to the Ball and a digital version of the Winter Woodland Star Pillow pattern!

The Kitted class includes Needlework Inc Silk thread, finishing fabrics, tools, beads, and of course, extra surprises, too!  The materials in the kit are sufficient for stitching on 32, 36 or 40 count fabric. Please note: this kit does not include cross stitch fabric. You will also need to provide cotton thread for beading, and your preferred pillow stuffing.

PDF/digital class students will be provided with full supply lists and recommendations for gathering/sourcing materials. You will have full access to the live class during the Jingle Ball as well as the class emails.

Tools required to fully finish your Winter Woodland Star Pillow: iron and sewing machine (if a sewing machine is not available you can hand sew).

You can expect class emails to begin arriving within a few days after signing up to the email address provided to The Jingle Ball when you purchase your tickets. These emails will come from Hello From Liz Mathews and may mistakenly find their way to your spam folder- please check there if you haven’t heard anything within a week of signing up.

Before October 18th:
What can you do before tickets go on sale?
Before the 18th you'll want to check The Jingle Ball schedule to see which of the two class times I'm offering for Winter Woodland Star Pillow works best for you. It is the same class taught at two different time so you only need to sign up and purchase one; A or B.  I am teaching Saturday December 7th at 2pm est and Sunday December 8th at 10 am est. I expect the class to run for approximately 2 hours.

My meet-and greet (which requires no sign-up and all are welcome) is Saturday December 7th at 6pm est.

You will find a full event schedule including all teachers class times and meet-and-greet schedules on the Jingle Ball website now, just click here.

I also want to point you in the direction of the adorable Jingle Ball merch! It is SO good and I have a bunch of goodies en route to me now because I couldn't resist! The buttons arrived today and I can't wait to put them on my project bags!
