What fun! So many of you responded when I asked you to give a shout-out to your favorite quilt shops (or 2, or 3, or 4)!
 
Clearly, many of us have several favorite quilt shops. You shared shops from Maine to Tennessee, Florida to Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and Montana - and so many more states. Many of you told me all about the selection of fabrics, the helpful staff, or the great time you had visiting the shop!
 
And … Sandy G. and Virginia O. - have each won one of the boxes stuffed with bits of fabrics and other quilty treasures.

Quilting for charity is something that most quilters I know do at some point in our quilting careers. Giving back in ways large and small is wired into many of us. After all - how many quilts can we put on our beds, display on our walls, drape over the back of chairs, or stack on a shelf? Even after making quilts for family and friends - I'm not done making quilts - I enjoy it too much.
