Message from the Director

Welcome
Thank you for being here and exploring what Empower Community Health Care Services offers. I started this company in 2019 feeling that there was a gap in services for Ndis participants.
My dream was to build a successful company around person-centredness for individuals on the Ndis exploring needs-based assessments and providing exceptional daily support to our participants since 2019. We have grown outside Sydney to Queensland and Victoria.
This year, we opened our first still home in Logan Reserve and have participants in Queensland in the Townsville, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Gold Coast regions, as well as ACT, South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory
All our staff receive monthly training in all support areas for our participants. Many of our staff have experience in mental health, ASD spectrum, physical disabilities and psychosocial disabilities.
In September we brought on board a service coordinator with 20 years of experience in the industry and extensive qualifications in disabilities with a plan to take Empower Community Health Care Services to a new level of support.
Our focus is always on our participants, and we perform regular weekly checks with all our participants or their nominees to ensure that the level of support is exceptional.
With this being our first newsletter we will be exploring and introducing you to our participants each week as well as our staff, we will be discussing our achievements both professionally and those of our participants.
We offer all core supports including community participation, daily living, meal prep, community nursing, medication management, and levels one and two support coordination. We are an NDIS registered service provider and passed our audit in July this year.
I will end my little speech here by leaving you with the very first introduction of one of our participants in our SIL home as well as sharing with you the achievements of some of our participants thank you.

Find Your Perfect Housemate – Join Us for Our Open Days!
We’ve got a rare opportunity for participants with SIL funding (or those applying) to find the perfect housemate.
For the next six weeks, we’re opening our doors to participants, families, carers, service providers, and support coordinators. Come visit, meet the lovely people already living here, and chat with our friendly staff who’ll be on hand to answer any questions you have about the home.
This is a unique chance to move in and form a genuine friendship with one of our participants—she’s honest, kind, and has a quick, wicked sense of humour.
Don’t leave it to chance—give Bronwyn a call at 0474 540 027 to chat about how this opportunity could be just right for you.

Our Open House starts on 2nd October—check the flyer for opening times and dates.
