Hello, First name / my friend!

I will be making an announcement about my January 2025 release soon but in the meantime, I want to share some important bookish charity events.

Asheville Book Auction is an event to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina. Each bid will directly contribute to recovery efforts and aid for those affected by the storm. I'm offering the full set of signed special edition hardcovers from the Dark & Quirky Summer 2023 box which includes In a Jam and five other incredibly gorgeous books from author friends. This event ends Friday, October 18.

Fall into Romance Auction directly supports the Audio in Color grant program, a 501(c)3 that awards funding to authors of color to create audio books. I'm offering my 2024 signing event special edition of In a Jam. This event closes on Sunday, October 20.

Hurricane Relief Western North Carolina Charity Auction is a coalition of authors and bookish businesses raising funds to help rebuild Western N.C. For this event, I am offering the extremely gorgeous French translation edition of In a Jam that features embossed cover details and beautiful edge artwork. This event runs from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20.

I hope you're doing well, my friend. I'll be back soon with more news!

New releases I want you to read:

Hannah and the Hitman by Vanessa Vale. I love the premise of this book SO MUCH. It's a hitman who finds himself reading a spicy book over his seat mate's shoulder on a flight and he's obsessed with her from the go.

Safe With Me by Stephanie Rose. A woman on the run from danger who falls for her new boss's son? Yes, please.

The Fake Wedding Project by Pippa Grant. I have a very big soft spot for “home for the holidays” books where the main characters have to invent some kind of set-up to manage their families and/or hometowns, and this book is exactly that. If you know Pippa Grant at all, you know you can expect lots of laughs, heat, and a whole lot of love.

Typos and broken links happen. It's okay. The earth is very hot and fragile, and so are we.
