I'M ON THE RADIO, MOM!
My latest release, “Shallow Walls,” broke into the radio scene (!!!!!!) and can be heard on both SiriusXM Chill (channel 55) and Capital Chill (UK's global radio). It blows my mind to know that my songs are reaching so many people. If you catch it on the radio, let me know! It sounds like it's getting played anywhere between 4-7 times a day on SiriusXM. What is life???
MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM:
I have another song scheduled to release in December and more songs being pitched to labels which is so exciting! The momentum is building and my workload is, well… I'll just say I feel like I'm at full capacity right now.
KEEPING IT REAL:
This year has been a pretty tough year to be honest. Lots of challenges in a variety of areas: illness, church, mental health, density and bandwidth. It's been the kind of year that makes you question what you're doing, how to keep going, and what's your “why." You know, the fun stuff.
I've felt gutted.
Wrung out.
Weary.
For months.
AND YET…
I'm still getting the chance to encounter beauty, truth, and goodness on the daily.
I have an incredible partner supporting me as I write and record in the squeezed in hours after the kids lay down and the stars come out.
I get to create with artists from Mongolia, the UK, Australia, Sweden, Russia, to name a few - man this world makes you feel small.
With every bit of difficulty or suffering I experience, I get the chance to receive what God has for me and to grow through it. I get to be changed. Over and over again.
So there you have it.
I'm tired.
But I'm still here.
And I'm still showing up the best way I know how.
