A favorite family tradition kicks off November 1st with our thankful wreath. Start with a small straw wreath (Michael's or Hobby Lobby). Roughly cut some colored paper. Each day, family members write what they are grateful for, fold it in half and add it to the wreath with a small push pin. Hang it and watch your wreath grow through the month!
For years when my kids were young, we loved making all kinds of ornaments and today they are some of my most treasured on the tree! I especially love using their artwork to create special memories in little frames with the year attached. I find some great ones every year at Michael's – you can take a photo of their artwork and print the photo to fit the frame or if they get stickers made (through fundraisers at their school) they usually fit perfectly inside!
MERRY & BRIGHT
A fun, quick gift you can put together for friends, teachers or neighbors is a festive disposable cup with a gift card to a local coffee shop and a few gourmet chocolates tucked inside (See's Candy is our family's favorite)!
I love using my wallpaper samples from one of my favorite artists Evelyn Henson to completely change the look of the tray. It's a great size for a dresser, night table, coffee table, bathroom or a catch-all tray in the kitchen.
This Fall we've been finishing up some ongoing projects, freshening up some fun new spaces, and are busy prepping for the new year with a kitchen remodel and several bathrooms. Stay tuned!
As always, thank you for supporting my small business!
I'm so grateful for you!
xo, dana
